SALVATION

THEREFORE GO AND MAKE DISCIPLES OF ALL NATIONS…

The main focus of our work in Africa is to provide hope for the future, but the ultimate hope is only found in Jesus Christ.

WHY WE DO WHAT WE DO

It’s simple—to spread the good news of Jesus Christ and to provide everyone an opportunity to know him personally through salvation. While much of our ministry is focused on present needs, our main focus is to provide hope for the future. A hope that is only found in Jesus Christ. Having the opportunity to meet a person’s physical needs creates the opportunity to meet their spiritual needs as well. However, salvation isn’t a requirement for someone to take part in any of the CLI programs. Water, food, education, health care, vocational training, and sustainable development are freely given to all who need help.

Matthew 28:18-20

“Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.”

Galatians 5:22-25

“True saving faith will be accompanied by an appropriate feeling of conviction for sin and a desire to please Christ by turning from sin toward God. Saving faith will also include a love for God—and not just a love for the benefits of having faith in Christ. Saving faith and repentance will only be authenticated by a person’s conformity to the image of Christ by displaying the fruit of the Spirit.”

Ephesians 2:8-9

“Works are a necessary fruit of our salvation, but are not the ground of our salvation, since we are saved by grace alone.”
