Our Vision for Health Equity
When we opened Child Legacy Community Hospital in Malawi, our goal was clear: to provide consistent, high-quality medical care to underserved communities. Today, over 690,000 cases have been treated, and 13 services are offered. From outpatient treatment to critical care.
Prevention is Power
Healthcare doesn’t stop at the hospital doors. That’s why our initiatives focus heavily on prevention and education. Through maternal health programs, immunizations, and comprehensive HIV testing and treatment, we’re not just reacting to illness—we’re helping prevent it.
Prenatal visits, safe deliveries, and follow-up care give mothers and babies the best start possible. Ongoing community outreach helps families understand how to stay well. In areas where maternal mortality and infectious diseases have long been threats, these programs are saving lives every single day.
Designed to Be Sustainable
We believe true transformation must be sustainable—physically, economically, and environmentally. The CLI Hospital in Malawi is powered by 100% solar and wind energy and uses reliable water systems. That means we can provide uninterrupted care, even when national infrastructure is unreliable.
